I picked up the HMV exclusive Hateful Eight Steelbook
Much prefer the artwork compared to the standard Blu Ray release

When I went to get my disc, a lot of guys were crying that they missed them.
However, Bestbuy really needs to work on their customer service. They had 5 people behind the customer service desk and there was only me and one other lady being helped. After waiting for over 20 minutes the rep helping the one lady finally called for another rep to help me. How hard is it to hand an already bought movie to someone, seriously? The only time I go to that terrible store anymore is for these steelbooks. That is probably why they do them, otherwise they would have no business.
My one complaint is how they packaged the regular disc inside. It was put in a sleeve. Like they forgot to put two disc holders in the case, and just threw it into a paper sleeve. Kind of odd.

I'm not a huge fan of Deadpool and could not see myself forking out $34+ tax cdn for it and not love the cover. I do like the inside cover though, that was nice. Anyways, I only paid $15.95 (incl tax) for the regular bluray so it was easy to pass on the steelbook.
It was smart to pre-order though, it looks to be sold out every where.

I have to commend Best Buy. I forgot Deadpool was coming out last week and I went on Thursday to see if I could still get a steelbook. Of course they were sold out - but the lady behind customer service called down to the store on the Cape for me as they still had three - she had them ship one to that store so I could pick it up this week.
She called today saying my movie was in. When I went to pick it up she said "Oh good, you're here! Get this thing out of my store! We had to stash it in the back because everyone who saw it asked to buy it!" She told me some customers even tried to order it online in front of them to try to get it - even though she said it was a transfer and not a hold. Apparently holds are still in their system and can still be ordered online - which makes a messy customer situation - where as transfers are not in their system at all.
I thanked her and was even more excited as I had a $15 coupon which brought my total to a whopping $11 for the steelbook!

The trailer after that one is part Star Wars, part Barbarella, part Krull and part Buck Rogers......with a little bit of bad acting and effects thrown in just to spice it all up.

It takes real talent to make a movie a couple years after Star Wars and still look like you made it 20 years before. LOL

Amazon has the season 1 Stranger Things Bluray 4 disc boxset new for 22.75 prime. I've never seen an episode of this show, looking forward to it.
