Raptor shots while huge aren't very sharp, but wow those rex shots are hard to look at.

You're totally right, in some shots couldn't for the life of me have that raptor in focus while looking into the optical lenses. Some are taken from really far and optically zoomed to reduce the deforming and that didn't help either.

These came out pretty sharp though.

I made a thread in the custom corner whenever it gets approved for posting, but since where it matters most is this thread, I hope no one minds I bring it back from the dead one last time before it probably fades into statueforum history! I offer one picture but there are more in my other thread when it goes live. May it inspire others to do the same and if you require help along the way, I know just the spot on the internet to help you where I have been keeping a record of my progress and how I did everything.

For the record, yes I am probably changing to tires that look less dirty because I have 24 more to work with. This is not a completed explorer. I threw it together to see the semi final look. Roof is not complete. It was quickly tossed on for pictures and yes, this is only one of my two explorers. The other has an open door. If you know another spot on the internet that might be interested in seeing what I've done to help themselves, let me know and I'll post it there too. One day I will have the entire dio completed for a recreated scene of BO rex , minus the rain.

Yes, they did, or at least they offered them, not sure if they all sold. They were all still fairly expensive as I recall.

Yeah I remember that and there weren’t really discounted given the damage.... was just curious if they’d try again

Considering these were selling for 800+ at the time on the secondary market they were still decent prices, I would imagine they must have sold though, never hear anything more about them.
