I think the issue is that these are not Complex but very clean designs. Is the price high? Sure. But as someone said before (and has been said many times) much more goes into a statue than what collectors feel it should cost. Licensing, design work, paying factories, marketing etc. etc.

Then if the entry cost is so high just to start then maybe you should make something worth it (like some of the pics people are posting) to take advantage of that high cost barrier instead of something that's just 90% covered by a sheet :P Not doing so is just as much as a failure and doesn't stop an overpriced piece from being overpriced...

But this is appealing to those who want the classic Star Wars designs...the same way people like Bowen because they want classic Marvel designs..

Also this is 100% accurate to what's on screen...

Yeah many people want the classic stuff. I fully admit that crimson empire version would be perfect for mythos. I think people see a busy design with being more expensive which equals good value. That's always been odd to me but to each their own.

I want classic too, but I don't think the price is reasonable enough for what's on offer.

this is PERFECT. Exactly what I would have wanted if I didn't own two from MYC already. I will still buy one down the road.

Price is what it is. you WILL NOT find a PF for less than $500 (msrp) moving forward unless it is a small character like yoda.

Even at this early stage, I suspect you will see this one for a chunk less if you show patience (Unless it ends up with a very small ES number)

Yeah but that’s dated. I’m talking about a version 2.0 with better head skulpts and paint apps
