I don't know, I like that when you have Superman posed with Batman or another JLAer, he's a little elevated above them for the most part. Seems fitting.

I like it. He's obviously much bigger than Superman. I'll decide on the pads when I get him in-hand. Fist up pose is still kind of a bummer but not a deal-breaker.

watching the video and just the removal of the shoulder pads makes a huge difference. Personally I do not think the shoulder pads should even be produced because it is just one more piece that needs to be made (or potentially broken).
