If the price is right, I'd love to pick up a unmasked one

I have the "unmasked" variant version...

BTW....

the cheapest 1 on ebay right now is $470 and it goes up $600.

I purchased mine for about $100 2 years ago.

WOW!! Thanks for the Info...Got this a few years back for $75, and have not seen it move in a long time...The masked was always more back then. Might be because people did not realize it comes with a Signed John Romita sketch of Spidey's mask.
Also there is 350 of the Unmasked and 2500 of the masked.

Glad it's finally getting some attention as I always liked this statue.

These were going for peanuts for years then suddenly there's some manufactured must-have hype around it and people start paying 4 to 6 times the usual going rate.

Thing is, a LOT of statues are jumping in price recently, so I don't think it's all hype. I think it's that there are just a lot more collectors now and people are grabbing up whatever they can. I think the hobby has grown considerably in the last couple of years and people are paying whatever it takes to catch up.

I'm not a big fan of the Unmasked version, but I think this is one of the best Spidey statues out there!
