Need Help

Need help, on the Darth Malgus PF sideshow statue does anyone know what kind of black paint is on the boots is flat, glossy etc? Can I apply it with a brush?

Don't use a brush. I went to the hobby store and found a local airbrush artist. He took $10 and made my Doom PF look new again.

I don't have the statue, but from viewing video online I can tell you it's certainly not gloss black or semi-gloss. I would call it matte black or possibly satin black. Airbrush is certainly your best bet for a smooth and even coat, but there is masking involved if you are going that route. If you don't have an airbrush, black generally covers very well, so hand painting, especially an area of this shape and size, should be quite doable. If you have any experience with painting you should be able to lay down a fairly even coat with little difficulty. How serious is the issue? is it just a touch-up required?

It has a bunch of scratches on the heel. Does anyone know a good airbrush to buy? Looking at trying to fix it myself and getting into repairing statues and bust.
