Loving it after 5 episodes. Still a bigger fan of the Daredevil series to this point.

I think the last episode was the weakest but still a great series overall.

It might be unfair for me to judge it, but I couldn't watch past the first episode. I felt there were too many exposition scenes as well as forced name/event drops and it got tiring real fast. In addition, I thought the acting was leaning on the dull side and reminding me of Twilight.

Reading the comments here is starting to make me wonder if they are showing something different in the APAC region.

Finally watched the first episode. Thought it was great. I think folks forget how much of a slow burn S1 of DD was. JJ also had several slow moments could have been compacted by a couple of episodes. I'll see how this goes, but expect it to pretty much follow the same formula, which is a good thing. I think Iron Fist may end up topping them all because it opens up worlds like mysticism and martial arts, plus I've always liked the character more than the others. I really think once the team comes together as the Defenders, everyone is going to be blown away.

I have to agree. Still a great show. Surprised there is no other Cameo's of the other Netfilix Marvel Heroes.

I like Jessica Jones better, but Luke Cage was awesome. The weakest point of the show were the villains. Cottonmouth was done well and very interesing. Black Mariah wasn't bad, I've just had enough of corrupt and evil politicians this year. Diamondback, in my opinion, was just flat out bad. They relied a little too much on people's Luke Cage comic knowledge. Based on everyone I've talked to, nobody knew who he was when he had his "big reveal" after shooting Luke. The strong points of the show are Luke, Claire, and Misty. I loved the Night Nurse setup and I assume that'll play a big role in The Defenders. I wasn't crazy about the ending. Maybe it's just the comic nerd in me, but I think the perfect ending to Luke Cage would have been to have him back in custody and then have Matt Murdock show up as his lawyer. It would set up the Defenders and then Iron Fist could play out at the same time as the other shows, so they can all come together at the same time.

Enjoyed the first episode but all the way through Luke Cages ears bothered the hell out me. They're too small and too close to his head, wierd.
