I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

only thing the lsf will have on this is size. It will be mixed media which right off the bat takes away a lot of the imposing quality this statue has. And who knows how good the pose will be.
Look at the cm vader, it's a nice statue but i hardly think it look as imposing & respectable as this one.

Very impressive. Taking into account everything, it remains my favorite interpretation of Vader.
The CM Vader is close though. The materials for that piece are top notch and the electronics really take it over the top. The thing that prevents it from achieving definite status is the pose however.
I wouldn't be too quick to discount mixed media.
Remember that there is no Vader better than THE REAL THING and unless I am mistaken is that not "mixed media?"
Done CORRECTLY with the right materials, a 1:2 scale Vader can be MAJESTIC . . . but ONLY if Sideshow stops dicking over the pose in a painful misguided attempt to be "artsy" or "original" and just gives us a menacing museum stance with lights in the chest plate and a lightsaber held like Vader did on Bespin when first confronting Luke.
