Made good progress on the Dark Knight piece this weekend, most of the body is done, the cape is done, the heads have their base flesh tones. Next I'll detail the rips on the suit, the belt, attach the cape and begin the wrap up on the two heads. I'm trying out a new blue and grey scheme, curious to hear your thoughts.

I really like the blue. Might be throwing me off a bit because you haven't done the blue on the cowl yet. I'm sure once that is done it will look great!

I also like the blue and gray a lot. Forms a nice contrast with the yellow.

Did the details on the skin tones and utility belt, tomorrow I'll seal it up and attach the cape. Only thing left after that is to mask off the faces and paint the cowls, eyes and teeth.
I definitely like the blue but I'm wondering if the grey is a bit too dark...I think I want a little more contrast between the suit and the logo. But I think it works just fine at 1/8 scale.

Haven't done a process post recently, just a reminder, we don't just slap blue on the head sculpt and call it day! Nope, we start with a dark purple undercoat, do the highlights in white, apply the mid tone, and hit the highlights with a pop of brighter blue. Even at the smaller 1/8 scale, gotta maintain technique integrity.

I'll let everything dry overnight, then do the eyes, teeth, touch up on the mask....and even a little weathering just for Asgard.
I did some subtle things as well, painted the soles of the boots black and did some dry brush edging on the rusty parts of the base to give it some dimension.

I'll wrap this up soon and start on Spider Man.

Wow. That blue really does pop. The details in the paint bring it to life. Great work!
