SPIDER-MAN vs NIGHTCRAWLER
Ok, I love Spidey and the X-MEN as much as everybody else but who would you pick if these 2 heroes went toe to toe? Why?
I like Spidey in this but think it would be a very interesting battle. Teleportation vs. Spider-Sense. Both characters are very agile. Spidey has the edge in strength but NightCrawler has fangs, above human strength and is skilled with a sword. I see this as being a pretty close fight with Spidey squeaking the victory. Before everybody goes and picks Spidey, have we ever really seen NightCrawler unleashed? We've seen Spidey lose it multiple times, take Firelord for instance, but I think NC could do some real damage if he wanted too. Think the opening NC sequence in X2......

Spidey... no contest.
Fighting ability... let's say even.
Agility... Spider-Man
Strength... Spider-Man by a lot.
Endurance...Spider-Man.
Speed... Spider-Man
Weapons... Spider-Man.
Durability... Spider-Man.
Teleportation... Nightcrawler.
Blue fur... Nightcrawler.
I've seen Spider-Man take on a squad of X-Men and make them all look like amatuers. Sorry Kurt, but you are bratwurst.

Like your answer TC. Tet you're like a comic god here. Has there ever been an issue where NightCrawler totally cuts loose?

I don't think NC would even get his tail around spidey.
Spidey wins.

The only time I can recall was during the AOA storyline, He teleports while holding John Proudstars (I Think) and as a result JP loses his finger in a very bloody mess, in the regular Marvel Universe though Kurt just doesn’t have the nasty streak in him

I don't understand given what I know about Nightcrawler's power of teleportation, how he can teleport part of an object or person?

Spidey every day of the week. Nightcrawler is a cool character, though.
