PS3 Prices
I've been checking some of the recent EBay auctions and it seems the 60 gb is selling for about $850 while the 20 gb is going for under $650. After purchase price and sales tax and ebay/paypal fees that $50-150 profit sure makes camping out for 4 days seem silly.

I know people are going to kicking themselves. Maybe they are holding out hope that there will be a surge at Christmas. I was at Toyrus today looking for Spider-Woman figures and there were about 100 people in electronics waiting to buy the Wii.

Most ppl went for the whole 7-9 day auctions when they should have gone the latest 3 days auctions. We sold a Wii on ebay as well and made close to double with all the fees taken off. But the Ps3 will now start to get a little bit more available since the initial rush is gone and it's all just a matter of calling and timing.

Plus at any given time there are 10,000 or so PS3s on EBay. I think its funny to see the ones posted by the delusional folks where the opening bid is $4k.

I`d never pay a jacked up price for a system or stand in line for the Chance to buy one.

Apparently the ones on ebay that have a BIN are in most part being bought by a group that is sabotaging PS3 auctions. Also, many are being bid up ridiculous amounts by the same people who have no intention of paying for them.

I sorta want one, but waiting till they are a dime a dozen at game stores. I still have this weight in the back of my mind they are going to be defective like the Xbox 360 was when it first came out. Plus simular thing happened to the PS2 at launch.
My rule of thumb is always buy the 2nd generation items, so they work out the bugs in 1st.
