I wish this new one had the superman/Batman outfit. I think the bare stomach is better suited for a teen version of Supergirl which they seemed to be going for with the new one.

Supergirl didn't start out wearing a half-shirt. She came on the comic book scene very similar to how she is in the new PF. I think it's a nice move by SS to give the new PF a whole new look.

She just looks nothing like the art work this was based on. Again it's not the sculptor but the much more mature art direction of these female cosplay portraits. Some works but the majority does not imo. Actually none of the ss supergirls come close to the art they based on. Thanks p1 for finally getting many a version they are happy with.

I thought so in the beginning. I own the piece, and it really looks better in person. I like it so much more than Sideshow's follow up.
Sure the piece failed to reflect the amazing artwork. I view this Supergirl as Cameron Diaz playing the part

To me, it never looked good when I saw it in person. Other then her bare abs showing, there wasn’t much to like about this statue. This and the Gal Gadot Wonder Woman pf. Both looked way off.

I like the new SS PF more than the P1, but since SS's production pieces have a tough time matching the proto...
