I never understood this. Many statues are opened and resealed for inspection purposes. How do you really know its "sealed" by the manufacturer. I have had a few statues that have 2 layers of tape on the Styrofoam inside. And these are on instant sell out statues like Akuma and Goro (I cant specifically remember which ones but most the statues I buy are EX or PL2 low edition sizes).

Additionally, do you really want an uninspected statue? The seller could always claim you broke it (Paypal "should" protect the buyer in this case). Not to mention fitment, paint, and general defects that could linger inside. Seems just a little too much to risk to me.

Simple, use branded tape. Enterbay and I think Prime 1 use it on the styrofoam.
