Wow, looks like EFX deleted all other licenses from their website
except for Star Wars and MARVEL.
They really just need to close up shop, hell the Mark VII
helmet will probably never come out.

Only just came across this thread...
Back in May, Bryan responded to an e-mail of mine with the below info:
"We are still experiencing some production issues with the Iron Man helmet. Unfortunately, I don’t have a date yet, since we are looking for a new vendor for the component that we are having trouble with."
Pretty standard response from them, but it was a response...

At least you got an answer Still hope the Special Edition will go up for PO again when they solved that problem. I assume they stopped taking orders for it because of that.

I'm a bit confused about this company. So, if it's true that they never deliver their products or delay them until infinity...how do they make money? How do they run a business? How do they keep customers? And, how and perhaps even why do they keep showing off their collectibles at different comic cons?

That's the mystery behind it all. I don't know how that works out, especially with the cost of the Disney license.

That's hilarious since the prop replica community has been churning out helmets/suits (damn good ones) for years.

To me that's the biggest question. No idea why they bother coming to SDCC every year. Like, all the money spent on advertising ---- that will never get made. Such a sad excuse of a company.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It might be in EFX contract to show up there and with new protos. Because no new products alas.

I was a sucker and bought the helmet 3 years ago. I have been contacting support to no avail asking about the status.
When the product update email came out, I responded asking about the helmet and got the following reply, which is essentially the same feedback:
We are still working through some critical issues with the Iron Man helmet and thus does not meet our quality standards.
We anticipate announcing an updated schedule for the helmet shortly.
Thanks for your patience and we apologize for the inconvenience!
