Hopefully it's isolated to a few units. I warned my brother after you alerted us (he collects Marvel while I favor DC). He hasn't had Elektra 4 months yet, but he'll be playing close attention.

I'm glad they're following up. They've done right by me (many times sadly) in the past. Hope they do the same here.

I'm thinking the museum putty will help keep her right foot on the base ...so in a sense countering the effect of gravity pulling on the statue from her front. I'm thinking museum putty on her left foot will help counter the effect of gravity pulling the statue from her right side. This works if the tackiness of the putty is strong enough.
Yea, the leaning could be because of a bad batch. But the museum putty is just preventative.

I think it depends on where the lean is coming from. Is the rod bent inside the foot or is the resin on the base giving way to the pull of the weight. I think it's probably the rod bending inside the foot, which is why the other foot is lifting up. This one definitely needed two keys.

GREAT NEWS. After contacting a returns manager, Sideshow has offered to send a full replacement. Fingers crossed that it arrives problem-free.
It'll be great to have a non-leaning Elektra again!
