Even in non-pandemic years, some pieces announced during 12 days are not revealed until SDCC.

Agreed. Last year, we waited 6 1/2 months to see Silver Surfer.

But Surfer was just a banner - correct?

Outlines and shadow images have historically come out much quicker than their banner counterparts (if I'm recalling correctly).

You would think showing a silhouette vs a logo would mean the product is going to be revealed sooner. That’s logical thinking. Then again they showed us this glimpse of the actual product and it never came out at all.


X-Men is a different case though. I have no doubt Storm will actually release. But we have to be realistic, this could be released at any time during this year.

Also, do we know if what they showed us of Storm is the printed statue or if it was a render? I remember the Amazing Spider-Man PF when they first showed it was a render, not the actual statue. Rocket was that way, too. Also this render I was anticipating its release and it never showed up as well.

That Cyclops statue would require the art director to believe that X-Men fans aren't trapped in the early 90s. Which clearly we are not and would like some god damn variety and modern looks.

I am stunned Sideshow hasn't done a white and black Magneto.

Cyclops is the character that stings the most for me. At the very least they could offer a Classic or Astonishing Cyclops PF.

Yep. Cyke has much better looks than his Lee suit. His Lee suit isn’t bad, buts not my favorite. I really like his Astonishing and the one he is wearing these days.

I’m not a fan of his XFactor suit, but it was a whole team of ugly design.
