The first PF had Fabric clothes but a sculpted cape. So basically a reverse of the latest PF.

But both of the Thors with sculpted capes had fabric costumes. There’s your trade off.
In most cases with sideshow that seems to be the case. Fabric costume/sculpted cape, or sculpted costume/fabric cape.

The Mythos Vader? That’s a 1/5 statue though, not a PF. Not really a direct comparison.
The new Vader PF has a fabric cape and tunic.
