Anyone Read Back Issue Magazine?
Stumbled upon it at my LCS several months back. It's expensive ($8.95 an issue) but I really enjoy it & it's a perfect pick-up on Wednesdays when there's not a whole lot out. It concentrates on The Bronze Age in comics & it's full of well written articles dealing w/ 70's & early 80's books. 8 X's a year w/ great cover art.

Used to get every issue but now I only pick it up if the theme appeals to me. I generally like the magazine but think they devote too many articles to summarizing what has happened in a comic's run. I'd prefer to see more interviews with the creators, maybe more critical analysis of the comics. My favorite comic related magazines came out in the 80's & 90's: Comics Interview & Amazing Heroes. Wish we had more like them today.

I buy it when the cover theme interests me. I have the X-Men, black superheroes, jungle heroes, super girls, liberated ladies and B-teams issues.

There are a few issues I want to pick up. A Dave Stevens one and I believe Adam Hughes. I haven't got around to it yet.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

You can order digital editions straight from the publisher for $3.95, a pretty decent discount.
