Question Question about DST Mephisto bust by Bergholtz

Can someone tell me for sure if the bust supposed supposed to have the two long pieces of hair on either side of his face? Like the picture on the box? My bust, pictured below, clearly doesn't have them. Are they supposed to be in the box somewhere?

Here's a picture of Andy's unpainted sculpt, which you can clearly see the hair pieces that frame his evil face:

(If this picture posting is inappropriate, please let me know and I will remove it immediately).

Or did that detail not make it onto the final product? Or did I get screwed by my online retailer?

Thanks.

Crap.

Thanks for the info, Azog.

Does anyone remember if they were separate peices or something? Were they supposed to be packed into the styrofoam on a little compartment or something?

I guess I should try and find the receipt...

They were soft resin and easily popped off if the glue was not done well...

that sucks poly ...

I think I like the unpainted picture better than what it looks like painted up. Something about the face - looks a little pink to me or something

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The "sideburns" were attached to the bust. This piece is enormous and very well done.

Yikes, sorry to hear that Polystoner. The hair pieces were indeed sculpted and produced as separate pieces, but should have come attached to your bust (permanently). I've got one of the busts here that I'd be glad to exchange with you, if you'd be willing to pay shipping costs. I'll even sign it for you if you want. Feel free to send me a PM about it....
