Someone asked about a Batman the other day and Bryan did not confirm nor deny. Now that post, hmmmmm.

Also, some people already think it might have been Mr. Sosa that ratted XM out. If it wasn't, that post certainly doesn't help people believe otherwise lol.

Yeah I thought the same thing, but given he does un-licensed commissions it would be kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. I don't think it was him but SS.

I know the last part of his email he was mostly talking about Syco, it's not really clear if he was comparing XM to them or just talking in general.

I understand he's frustrated and from everything I've read it's more of a clash of two alpha male sculptors not agreeing on stuff then anything else. I think when he went to work for them he probably assumed like all of us did that he would have freedom to be creative with no restrictions but it seems XM has a clear style they want to go with on their statues and it was different then Sosa envisioned ((( shrug ))) just a guess as nobody will just come out and say exactly what they mean

Anyways I'm still a fan of XM and a fan of Sosa, I wish the best for both of them.....

No, those are the heads from when Strange wore a mask.

And to clarify, I'm not saying Sosa told on them. I'm saying that for the people that feel he did, his FB post doesn't really give those accusers reason to recant lol.

You're right, Bashing your former company in a public manner after things are supposed to be done isn't positive for anyone, especially for Erick.

I just wanna say that Erick is a very very talented artist whom I respect a great deal plus everyone knows he's a really nice guy! Yes, there were differences in creativity, opinions and directions (as it often happens) which ultimately resulted in a departure of ways but I'd like to think that doesn't fall into the same category as being a farce or malicious intent on either party's side.

I believe Erick's post was sharing his bad experience in general, and not about taking potshots at XM. Give him the benefit of the doubt, guys, Erick is a classy man!

I remain a fan of Erick always.

Both parties split amicably (initially) on the boards, so seeing this long winded post long after they parted ways just comes across as both unprofessional and bitter/salty.

I was taking about my experience overall not just with one client alone but many of them.
If I had known XM was doing anything illegal during my tenure with them I would have personally tried to fix the issue internally first and foremost, and eventually if they would have persisted, I would have had to be forced to make specific announcements regarding that or even contact the pertinent licensors, but that was not the case while I was there.
Bottom line Seng and I never saw eye to eye, that is the bottom line. I have all the respect in the world for Bryan and Ben.
I appreciate people not talking without knowing. It is obvious there's other players in the arena and I am sure many are not happy that XM has been so popular overnight. As for XM doing anything out of the rules that is no longer my concern, I wish them the best and hope that they will remain faithful to keeping the rules.

Darth you are right but with all due respect you have no idea what I have dealt with in 22 years.
Your opinion is valid and I respect that, good for me I know where I stand and that is all that matters to me.
Let's just say in the end you guys will never know what goes on behind the scenes ever. And trust me that is a good thing.

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but... I think the Batman reference is related to Daredevil. His unmasked head sculpt has been often defined as a Joker sculpt and I recall that when someone asked if that head was made by Sosa, Erick quickly replied that he had nothing to do with it.
Just an assumption, but the timing of Erick's departure goes with DD's first finished pics, so I'd guess that was the proverbial drop that spilled the glass.
