I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

What type of ZAP Glue is best/strongest?

Hi guys, i received another broken statue (bad month). In this case it's two clean breaks per the photo below so I can glue it back pretty easily.

The worrying part however is the broken leg is used as weight support/balance for the statue. So if after i set it up and the glue unholds, the entire statue will come crashing down.

From my research here it appears Zap glue ( zapglue.com ) is recommended as something stronger than krazy glue. But there are so many different kinds - ZAP-CA, ZAP-Gap, Slow Zap, ZAP-X. Which is the strongest and best for this situation? Also are there any even better alternatives?

I also thought about drilling a pin in there, but the leg is so thin i am afraid it will just crack if i try to drill anything, especially if not very handy.

thanks!

Drilling and pinning will definitely help. I mean it looks like the leg is at least 1/4 inch thick, so a piece of paper clip would work to brace it.

I've always found Tech-Bond to be really great, and strong as hell!
