I did French for 5 years in school and can only remember how to say swimming pool, house and hello. 90 mins isn't a huge waste to give something a try at least. I loved the first, only kind of liked parts of this one, but it was worth the watch at least. You can always turn it off early anyway.

Looks like the same tired formula. Was hoping for some creativity this time around but I’m not seeing anything to pique my interest in that trailer.

That looked rough.
I have the feeling the first two films will remain in their own camp as classics while 3-6 occupy odd space of flawed attempts to recapture the magic.

As far as I'm concerned Terminator ended with the second film. I pretend like the rest don't exist. Same with Robocop and Predator.

Dark Fate looks to be the dictionary definition of a rebootquel. My guess as to how it goes: Just like T3, Skynet becomes self-aware, it just happens later. So the events of T1 happen again with different players, at a later time and with different tech. The young woman being the mother of the resistance leader (most likely to be a woman this time because that’s what Hollywood does now). You’ll have Sarah still expecting Judgement Day to happen. Arnie possibly the Miles Dyson replacement in the story. Female Kyle Reese replacement hinted as so advanced technoganic cyborg human enhancement.

Looks like a female version of Terminator 2....
I had more hopes for this movie when I heard Linda Hamilton was going to be back in it... hopefully the movie is better then what the trailer showed... but I have a feeling it's going to be a dud.. I also have to say that no skinny female terminator is every going to be as intimidating as Arnold was in the first two movies... I think you kind of need that to make these type of movies work...
