I think the original rogue PF doesn’t even hold a candle to this new one.
This one is way better in my opinion. Detail, face, you name it.

The face is what really kills this for me. It’s not ugly at all. But it doesn’t quite look right for Rogue to me.
The old PF heads weren’t great at all but one thing I still like more about the PF is the body on it. That’s a curvier Rogue. People complained a LOT about the butt crack being filled in but compare it to the Maquette which has just about no butt at all. I guess the maquette has a more athletic build with a thicker, less curvy body but Rogue doesn’t need an athletic body, her strength is a super power, not from natural body strength or large muscles.
The sculpting details and pose are definitely better on the Maquette. But at this point X-women PFs/l and Maquettes are 50/50 on having a weird/unusual/not quite it head.

Perhaps. But is it $400 better? With a repainted portrait I'd take that over this new maquette.

I still love the piece, but I doubt I'll order until she's been out a year or more and proven that the statue doesn't break or fall over.
