Sorry you haven't had the same experience.
It's too bad because I really like their sculpts.

C'est la vie.

Another HQ RWB fail. The proto's face was definitely rounder. Also, the face on the production piece wasn't sanded/smoothed.

Jeez, that's more Mike Mignola than Jae Lee.

Thank you for this thread. I don't usually follow DC collectibles but every now and then something catches my eye (I'm still kicking myself after missing Bombshells Catwoman). It's nice to get a heads up on potential issues before ordering a product.

Yeah, the review touches upon this. The lines cut into the statue seem deeper than necessary.

Oh man, i'm glad I didn't get into the RWB line. I wonder why the Batman BW line isn't affected by this. Is it because Batman's design and sculpt are simpler to produce?

There was a period where I considered collecting this line to go with my Batman B&W pieces, but not after seeing how they've turned out. And the problems only seem to be getting worse with time.

It's a recent development largely limited to one line of statues, so hopefully this is a factory-specific problem. That way, DC can switch to another factory if necessary.
