I don't know. A lot of people make some very silly money decisions buying/financing things they can't afford. Then they need money to pay their bills, fix a car or prepare for a child birth. People will sell when their life's timeline demands it. Having a hobby where many people aren't rich can provide for some desperation sales.
Regardless, I'd be shocked to see this below retail, though we're in uncharted territory with pieces this big and expensive having too be resold.

At the cost he is plus shipping most had money to burn that bought him. He was literally 4000.00 plus Canadian for me to get . Trouble in life or not he’s going nowhere at under retail plus shipping .

The ONE thing that's grating on me about this beautiful piece, is that the Iron Man himself has no light up feature, only the Hulkbuster, so displaying them separately, you can't light them both. It's a small thing, and to be fair I rarely use my light up features at all, but I just find it a strange design choice to not have them both light up?

Iron man is too small. You’d have to engineer a diff head that’s hollow and removable for lights and magnets and chest piece the same it adds so much to cost and integrity of the statue. I prefer iron man to be less parts and more solid than light ups

You lost me on “iron man is too small” for light ups???Pretty much Every other 1/4 scale iron man from SS and Iron studios lights up perfectly.

This version seems more streamlined than sideshow ones which are bulky. It’s cost . This statue already cost thousands and I’ll find a way to light it up on my own if need be I don’t feel the need
Anybody that bought and owns this is not complaining ! Nuff said
