I see a lot of complaining with the paint up on this and am trying to understand why? He looks really good compared to normal paint ups by SS these days. If this is the worst from the pics shown, you Conan fans I would have though would be happy. 
BTW, I always get a vision of Conan as an olive-brown skinned person. I guess my vision of Red Sonja and Conan is different from others. I expect Conan to be a darker complexion and Red Sonja to be a pale skinned complexion.
Hmm...oh well.

He should definitely be a darker complexion, but they are both way off on skin tones for each of their complexions. The shading should be more subtly applied in both strength and tone. The shading seems too intense for the base skin tone. This was annoyingly and painfully obvious with Sonja. I'll wait to see Conan in person to speak much further on the matter.

I'm a massive Conan fan,but that looks terrible,happy I cancelled way back ..it's a shame really,in the past they produced great statues...not sure what's going on at sideshow now..

Dunno, I'm not overly concerned by the skin tone. Conan is often described with "sun burnt skin". Hoping for a decent in hand piece, after two years.
