Totally understandable, liking the Pennywise line as well, but wanting answers. I’ve personally asked Steve in person, but no concrete answer. I know he did mention that statues are well in production before it goes up for preorder, but at this point, only time will tell.

So is it not related to hellboy? Looks and moves (looking at the trailer) exactly like abe. If it is an ‘original’ character there’s been zero imagination used, surprised Steve picked this license up tbh can’t see them selling more than a handful.

It is not related to Hellboy. But it is a wonderful movie. My favorite movie of this year.

Very excited about this piece, and looking forward to seeing more!

I actually thought the movie was just meh. Creature is cool cause he looks similar to Abe, but wouldn't spend 2k on him me thinks. Pans Labyrinth was his best movie to date imo.

I'd bet they do a bust and maquette, so that's 2. I think number 3 is the Lisker maquette and the other 2 will be OG designs based on mythical stuff. I wonder if they would pick up the Aiko Predator bust?

I loved Shape of Water, but I agree that Pan’s Labyrinth is GDT’s best movie. I remember hoping someone would make a great statue of the faun when I first saw it when it came out.

There's a amazing custom Faun bust that was made, but I believe it was like 5-7K range. I'm hoping SOW is just the beginning of Del Toro creatures. I'm definitely surprised they haven't done him yet though. I feel Pan has a better following than SOW.

I actually prefer The devil’s backbone. But I agree, a faun statue is long overdue.
