Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

In-hand photo on IGN of the McFarlane one. I didn't realize it was so much taller than a standard B&W.

Nice, makes me feel better considering how much he was.

I wrote that IGN story, so I can answer any questions you might have about the statue. It's easily the largest of these I've ever seen (other than the Bane B&W), so the price increase doesn't feel that out of line.

Nice, decent article. I will give you one criticism though, you're scales were off a bit.

1/12th scale is roughly 6" for s 6'ft tall character.
1/10th scale is roughly 7".

This would be more in line with 1/8th scale, which would put his head at about 9".

I do have a question for you though, you said only it's head and torso is actually sculpted I believe, how does it key into the base?

I'd love to read the article. Do you have a link?

I only list this as 1:10 scale because that's what the box claims. I do agree with you it's probably even bigger than that based solely on the measurements, but it's hard to say for sure given how exaggerated the design is.

To answer your question, the statue is permanently affixed to the base rather than keying in. There's a cape fold that completely wraps around where his feet would be.

Lots of sites say he's shipping this month but I'm not sure if that's a place holder or not and if he'll be delayed out any further due to Covid stuff.

I received a shipping confirmation from Entertainment Earth on Friday, so mine should be here sometime this week.

Mine shipped from Sideshow. Hopefully I'll get him either today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed for no issues.
