That’s how it’s suppose to be. If your bother by it, put some thumb tacks at the bottom of the frame (tack to wall)

there are little plastic dots that are elevated that are meant to be put on the four corners of the back of a picture to help it lay flat or even against the wall. I have used those just on the bottom of a picture and it would help it stick out to even out the top

Thanks for the advice all...it's actually pretty minor, and I was able to improve it a bit anyway after the initial hang. Man, as my first canvas, this definitely didn't disappoint. The colors are really vibrant, and I love this "open" format compared to a conventional frame, so cool.

If a HD Aluminum print is waitlisted but still accepting more to join the waitlist is that considered a good sign yours may convert, or am I just really clinging onto hope?
