Thanks everyone for the nice comments

@RossMcCollector, yes you can go with it, if you take the time and paint carefully, everything will be fine.

@NorthernLadMSP, he just repaints the eyes and lips.

Here are some other pictures took in daylight like asked.

I love it too, I took some picture in natural light of my custom blue version...

I don't know why Sideshow did not go with blue lips also?

I don't know either. They did it on the bob hair CoH of the new one however. Don't know why as Emma never had the blue makeup at this time.

Lucien is adorable!

Both XM and SS screwed it up. They both did it on the more classic Hellfire looking bob portraits, when it should have been on the more modern looking long haired portraits.

I recently got Emma Frost from Sideshow and assembled it over the weekend. The portraits are great, no issue at all, but there some issues:

1) As some other folks discussed, there can be an issue when fitting the body 'key' into the base, where a cable by her left foot interferes (see circled area in photo):

I definitely had an issue here, but I was able to push the cable over just long enough to seat the figure. I think it's fully seated and I didn't scratch anything... I think. -)

2) The 'X' on the cape has a pin that fits into the hole on her body, but it just seems loose after inserting, there's no catch or detent to hold it there:

I sort of expected it to catch or clip in place, but it doesn't seem to. Does/did it for anyone else?

It's only an issue when looking from below the statue, so it's fine for most displays.

I don't want to seem to be nitpicking; I really like the statue (and I was so glad not to have any portrait issues). I'll let Sideshow know about these issues for their problem logs, but I don't think I'll be requesting any action.

I had to replace the first Emma because of the cable issue. The replacement was only slightly better but it still rubs against it. The cape emblem is normal.
