Question regarding shipping form Specfiction Shop?

I ordered a few statues in two orders a couple of weeks ago from Specfiction Shop for the first time.
They charged me $550 for shipping. The orders say they will be shipped via UPS Ground. However, I don't get a tracking number. When I contacted them, I was told my orders were shipped via freight and the freight company will call me to schedule for a delivery. The problem is that I will be going out of town in a few weeks. And I would like to know an estimated delivery day. Is it normal that they use a freight company to cut the shipping cost but charge the customers for the UPS shipping?

Normally we do ship ups, but since you ordered a few items during the black friday sale that were rather huge boxes, we decided to ship via freight as its safer.

I have contacted you guys via the support on your website and asked for an estimated date for delivery. I was only told that I will receive a call from the freight company to schedule delivery. No mentioning of estimated delivery date. Also, if you guys used another company for shipping, you probably shouldn't have charged me using the UPS pricing, as we all know that freight shipping is a lot cheaper but slower.

Freight shipping is actually more costly by about $50

This isn?t sea freight. It?s domestic freight. It?s around 5-7 days same as ups. Reply to our email so we can chat there. Thx
