CGC Comics, wow....
I sent 10 books to be graded by CGC back in May and they were accepted by CGC on June 1st. It's September 9th and I still haven't received them but did receive a grading report from them. It is only the Modern tier of grading but 3 and a half full months from the time they were shipped out to the time I get them back does seem a bit crazy. Last time I had books graded has 2005, anyone else getting books graded and having this long of a turnaround time?

3-4 months has been the norm with every submission I've done through CGC. Silver, modern, or bronze age all seem to take the same amount of time. Conversely, it is about a month with PGX or CBCS.
It may be worth noting that all of my submissions are signature series.

My last submission was end of March this year and I received my books early July. Modern Tier.

Only problem with PGX & CBCS is that if you are selling expect to get a lower return on your books as people prefer CGC.

I must asked this in my thread, but now saw this. What is your minimum value threshold that sparks you to CGC a book??? Or is it more on content than value (origins/1st app/death/etc). Thank you!

When people throw around "high grade" for Bronze and Silver Age books, what is the starting point to you? 7,8,9? Curious to see what people say. Thank you.

9.8 seems to be tha magic number that launches graded books into the stratosphere resale wise. I think I have a few. I'm happy w/ a 9 or above. Anything above an 8 will usually get the money you spent on grading back for you. Below a 6 sinks ships in terms of resale.
