A very nice custom base - and more realistic than the SS one- is proposed by my pastry chef, if anyone is interested.

My only real complaint:

Why isn’t her hair red?


I don’t care about “red hair in real life”, or “it’s auburn”, or it’s just dark...this statue looks great but Jean will never look right without red hair.

Yeah SS always does this with redheads and I don't get it either. Poison Ivy, Jean Grey, Mary Jane....why can't we get comic red?

Agree (from the standpoint that the gold bands definitely make the statue look better).

I dont care for the gold bands, makes it look like she has plates of metal slapped onto the side of her legs - i dunno just not for me

There is no denying the sculpt is beautiful for this piece but the lack of detail & textures on her suit just kills it for me. When you look at other pieces from this line like Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine, Juggernaut, etc. it makes it all the more maddening. So much potential here, it's a shame and the same for Cyclops. The only thing saving this piece is the regular portrait and that's not enough to shell out close to $600 bucks for.

Because I owned the first one and currently own She-Devil and they both have pretty vibrant red hair.
