I don’t understand what people have against museum style poses - look how good they look together!

I wonder if the capes key into their legs for support, one edge is wrapped around the leg of each. Small nitpick but would have been cool if their capes were blowing the same direction for people getting more than one character

This Superman is magnificent.

Perfect aside from the cape wrapping around his left shin. I think its unnecessary and looks strange.

So far Supes looks like the best of the three.

Supes looks great but that new motto for the woke generation on his base is unfortunate, but I guess DC insisted on it.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to get their panties in a twist over them not using "and the American way"--even though that wasn't even in the original comics.

Using "The American Way" started in the radio serials in the 1940's to aid the WWII effort and was revived in the 1950's television series during the McCarthy years. In the 1960's it was "Truth, Justice, and Freedom". "The American Way" was revived again in the 1970's with the Reeve Superman films. In the 90's it was simply "Truth and Justice". In Superman Returns it was "Truth, Justice, and All That Stuff". In 2021, DC officially made it "Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow" so this isn't a new thing, but we should all definitely cry about it.

I don't even think it was a woke choice. I think the studio was just thinking about foreign markets and didn't want to exclude most of the world. Like most things, it was a financial decision.

That's how I interpret it too.

And anyways, he is the "Man of Tomorrow". It's specifically resonant to the character

That said, I'm not a fan of slogans or words on the base- even if it's the IPs logo or character's name.

...................................................i want this ^

...............................but not this ^

if a base is detracting from the statue, there is a major problem with the art direction.

I'd prefer a black hockey puck base as opposed to these bases.

I agree. In 10 years it'll probably change again, but some people today have to take everything as a negative. "A Better Tomorrow" is positive and inspires hope for the future, which embodies Superman perfectly, so it's actually a change that makes sense. Plus, like I said, that motto has been official for a couple years so anyone complaining about it now hasn't been paying attention. It's not a new thing.
