At most there were probably 30-40 there the entire time I was there.
The Hughes piece went for $4200, same as last year. The organizers did get last minute phone calls for the piece. They were allowing proxy phone bids on any piece that was over $1000. So I did lose out to a proxy phone bidder, but not the same guy. The guy I lost to last year (from England) I believe got the Hughes re-marked poster that went for $2000.
I saw a couple of other comics creators in attendence, Kurt Busiek and Mike Choi. They were there just checking things out.
