That is pretty sad they would even do a figure for a reason like that but it is a clear indication that like most things Disney it will be worthless garage sale crap in a few years. I get what you are saying but in the US the flag is popular, will we see one of these with red and whilte stripes with blue with white stars? More American buyers than Asian buyers so probably and the point is not that this pattern is popular on pots and dishes and stuff, it is that this is a Star Wars statue and this whole line would never have seen the light of day if Lucas still owned Star Wars, this is just garbage pure and simple. Now that is cool! Well, maybe that when your done Jar Jar being gone is cool. There will always be impulse purchase garbage but I have not seen any at this high of a price. But I am sure there is a Grandmother out there that is waiting for her porcelain Stormtrooper so I will not bash this piece, it will fit in her curio cabinet with here crystal and china.
