Also, if there are 3 different versions of this statue (website exclusive, NYCC exclusive & regular), is the bow & quiver the only extra? Or are there other differences? The ARH website page for this statue does not mention anything?

I believe the bow and quiver was a NYCC/website exclusive

I see the Great One posted pics of both Medusa's side by side on FB and I still like the first one better but looking at them side by side I can now see why someone might think the new one is better. It REALLY does look good, as seen in recent photos in this thread but I had never seen them side by side before.

I've ever considered the first one as a masterpiece.
Like someone said here, the second one has a "cartoonish" head style that I like less.

It's a tough call. Both are very good. I'm eager to see what the 2017 Medusa release will look like. I hear it's coming out just before Hades :-P

I almost ordered both versions of the original ARH Medusa... I really like it. The only thing that kept me from ordering was the lack of detail in the snakes. Other than that I think it has a very nice style. I love the detail Ehren packed into the newer version and how the snakes are at her command... enough that I had to buy two.

first one is better imho, shows more menace as Medusa should present.
the last one is like a Barbie Medusa blowing kisses. But it has a more convenient to display base.
