Raising my Detolfs
Hello all,
I prefer detolf cabinets as I like to see the sides of my pieces. Only problem is I lose the bottom shelf for it being so low.
I have three sets of detolfs; two sets of three and one set of four.
I'm looking for something clean and sturdy to sit them on that will prop them up about 1.5 feet.
Thoughts?

I used a 2 x 12 and cut to the length of the sides of the bottom of the Detold base. Screwed them together. I then took a 2 x 2 and cut it to fit the inside of that "box" about 1/2 inch below the top. The detolf fits in the box and rests on the 2 x 2 ledge.

That's beautiful. I need something I can buy, though. I'm not much of a DIY guy.

I'm using Ikea KALLAX shelves so the Detolfs are a bit off the ground. The Detolfs are simply sitting on the Kallax, but the Detolfs are anchored to the wall.

Same idea with me. Only my Kallax is turned on its edge so the weight of the detolfs above rests on the long side walls of the Kallax...

These are perfect examples. Thank you so much!
I was in Ikea looking so the Kallax today and I am concerned with weight. No issues?
