It's most definitely going to be over 1k. It's just a matter of how far over 1k it gets.

I personally pushed the Hush Batman to the side for this one. It's just so unique.

I think it would be a surprise if it wasn't there; I imagine this is a "showcase" piece for P1. Pretty sure you'll get to see it first hand.

My main hope for SDCC this year is the DKR Armored Batman.

I hear you there man. Looking forward to seeing the final product on that one. I was hoping it would go up for order before San Diego, that's still another 5 months.

After flipping through the comics, I feel he really needs a pair of switch out purple gloves. It's not like it's some fancy shading technique, it's the actual color of the gloves. I get that P1 bases much of their comic Batman from variant cover art, but for a detail seen throughout the entirely of the comic, I'd go as far as saying it's a dealbreaker to omit such a cheap inclusion.

I'd like for that to be an option too, but looking at the statue do you think it's even possible? The hands don't look like they're in a good position to be removable....perhaps the arms switch out at the sleeves?

it's rather a deal breaker for me for the gloves. Hopefuly they will change that. The whole aspect of the story this piece comes from is telling of Batman's first account with any of his rogues that had a new take on his first appearance suit with a main aspect of that suit being the purple gloves. To make them black doesnt make much sense to me. So I do hope P1 does change that.

Wow.. deal breaker because the gloves aren't a shade of purple?

I actually like the gloves to be black.. would look strange to be purple since didn't read every comic but if they offered a purple glove version even better for everyone...

While I'm not in the "deal breaker" camp because I'm fine with the gloves being black, I get the curiosity as to why they're not purple as that's most definitely what they are in the comic.

I have little doubt that if the hands/arms do come off, purple gloves will be offered.
