I have seen both the Sideshow and Iron Studios in person, and I happily paid the premium for the Iron Studios version. It wasn’t even close for me.

At SDCC...

There are not enough discounts for me to like this piece. Hot Toys did it better and it's a doll.

Don?t like that you need a stand / pole to hold them to the base. It?s an eyesore and the scale is too small.

You don’t always need to use the pole and I’ve got the 1/4 scale Hot Toys Mando carrying Grogu without the pole.

I've tried to convince myself over and over to like this statue and just can't do it. The pose kills it for me. Thought Iron Studios looked more natural but there were things that turned me off about that piece as well. I'm thinking I'll either wait for SS to make a half scale Mando or another PF.

I actually really like the Hot Toys version doll and all! Would rather that over this.

Have not seen the IS version but in the reviews I think it looks better.

The swagger does not help either.

If you can get past that it's a great likeness to the character. Even the Grogu is well done on the HT.

25% off as part of the deal of the day. AND free shipping. Comes down to $476.25 + tax.

The deals with free shipping are always good deals imo.
