no becasue he was the creator and sole owner of the franchise.
so he was allowed to do what ever he damn well pleased with it.

He was supposed to be part of a panel on the Anthology films at Celebration, but he supposedly was unable to attend due to not feeling well. Sounds like they already knew he'd be moving on, probably what he was sick about.

Totally agree, and I don't think he appreciated the opportunity presented to him with SW. I'd rather see someone more enthusiastic brought on.

This is kind of cool, but at the same time Boba is so Awesome because we see and know so little of him in the original trilogy. He had what, four lines? Anything Star Wars will be given a fair chance by me though, it could be very cool.
