The piece is “pending approval, so hopefully Disney asks them to work on Peter’s portrait.

Or at the very least the eye color!

MJ looks cute though.

Statue face looks like.....

Dick Van Dyke as Rob Petrie on the Dick Van Dyke Show......

There was an episode where he was in a hat and if I recall was a bit imbibed and he had that exact smirky expression...couldn't find a screen shot of it though...

Would have loved to display the art print and this statue right next to the case with the other 4 JSC Spidey pieces + art prints ... alas Peter's Dexter-Gone-Bad-The-Animation-Look is really killing it for me. MJ is almost perfect and the print of course gorgeous, but sadly no ... not gonna happen for me. If they manage to change the head, which is imho doubtful, I'm back on board though.

For the time being, I'll plan to pick up the Iron Studio Spiderverse pieces instead. Gwen also looks a tiny bit off over there, but really just 'a tiny bit' and the rest, esp. Noir, looks glorious, plus cheaper, too :-)

I wonder what's going to happen to the Fairy Tale Line. Wasn't Cinderella teased already? Did the dress prove too much of challenge? Would love an update on that as well, any1 over at SDCC who could bother to ask, unlikely as that is to yield any results... (and 'yell at' them vis-a-vis what Sideshow apparently considers a face sculpt thse days ^^).

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I think that Spider-man & MJ release here means the Fairy-tail line is still on Hiatus. Shame too, because I was really looking forward to more Fairy-tail characters verses what they decided to go with.

Well I hope that NYCC has Fairytales. Or at least if we are now doing JSC Spider-theme statue’s we get a new Black Cat.
