Great news, they found a replacement body.
Bad news, they ask me to pay 140SGD of shipping...I'm little angry they asked me that whereas it's a defective staute in the first place.
It's not my fault if the statue has leaned during time...

i just recieved this from Simplytoys
Hi there
Thank you for your support with your purchase of XM Studios statues through Simply Toys.
Due to a recent spate of damage claims from our buyers based overseas, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify Simply Toys Policy & Procedure on exchanges, repairs and touch-ups for XM Studios statues that were shipped through 3rd parties [this includes local contacts and forwarders].
Please refer below for Policy & Procedure: Exchange, Repair And Touch-up
Step 1. Customers will ship the defective items back to Simply Toys at their own expenses.
Step 2. Simply Toys will then help customers to send the defective items back to XM Studios for exchange, repair or touch-up.
Step 3. Upon availability of replacement for exchange or the completion of repair / touch-up, Simply Toys will help customers to collect back their statues from XM Studios and deliver them to a forwarder of their choice.
Step 3A. In the event customers require Simply Toys to ship the replacement or repaired pieces to them directly due to the absence of a forwarder, customers will handle the return shipping at their own expenses.
We highly recommend our overseas buyers who shipped through 3rd parties to purchase full shipping insurance coverage to minimize incurred cost of loss due to damages caused by rough shipping and handling.
Feel free to contact us via email should you have any inquiries pertaining to this matter.

i had bought one from them forwarded by a freight forwarder to me,
I had ordered 3 XM before ST were hit with the shipping restrictions as well but decided to keep the orders and use a freight forwarder
My first order to ship was the Ms marvel which came with the base damaged, ST contacted XM and were told no replacements were available, contacted XM directly and was told they would repair the base provided i ship it to them and pay the return shipping,,i would have paid the shipping for a completely new base. but shipping the damaged to and fro would have cost me another 200$ and Ms Marvel would have cost around 1000$ by the time all was well,
Decided not to take anymore risks and cancelled the 2 remaining orders, its ofcourse the risk we take when ordering through 3rd parties. but it wasnt worth the price in the end for me but XM packaging has a good record of everything arriving safe compared to SS,,

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I bought it in Europe from a retailer...
The leaning come from the ankle because it doesn't have a metal rod...

What they say to me in last email:
Quote:
I could totally understand your surprise and frustration.
Please understand the replacement policy was implemented 3 years ago, which is already due.
Out of good will, we will send you a new replacement but you would have to bear the shipping costs.
Please kindly let me know if I could assist you in any other way.
Thank you.

Dont know what to think, the whole "good will" thing kinda upset me...

AB, w/ all things considered, at least all you have to comp is the shipping cost. If it were any other company, you'd be SOL, trust and believe; I know this first hand.
