Xbox 360 E79 error
Crap in a hat, just got a E79 error and one 1/4 red blinking light. Anyone know how to fix this?

well, tried fixing it and now I have 3/4 red lights. It is probably just as easy to buy a new one at this point.

Finally happened to me a couple weeks ago. Luckily my wife looked on line and that error is covered for 3 years by Microsoft.

Mine did the same about a week and a half ago. Already got the replacement in. This is my second replacement unit.
