I gotta say, I think this is the best original concept ever made by ARH.
There is definitely some room for improvement and tweaking. I see where they're coming from and I see they took inspiration from the Laocoon statue - the theme (snake) is there, Perseus' pose is really similar to Laocoon, especially the arms. I really approve it.
What I think is missing, is that the pose should be more dramatic, the torso twisted a bit more and overall it nearly seems like Perseus is striking a pose for a picture after beheading Medusa. It should be a little more natural.
Same for the face, should be more expressive.
Hope they work on it some more, because this has serious potential. The body sculpt is impressive, miles better than the usual "generic muscular guy" that ARH tends to put out.

I hope Arahom revisits the Mythology line in 1/6. Always liked the designs but No room for 1/4.
As for this one, I'd like to see Perseus repositioned and a swap out human Medusa head sculpt.

They need to stop revisiting their characters. They have done so many Medusa pieces. Why not actually produce a piece that you have sneaked years ago? What ever happened to that cool, dark fantasy line? Or their Red Sonja? It is almost like they get discouraged when other companies (mainly Sideshow) release similar characters. Especially with Red Sonja. As soon as Sideshow revealed theirs, ARH's mention of the piece died.
Back to this piece...I like it. However, I like Medusa and would rather not see her beheaded. I would also like to see her with a slightly more human face, like the 1/4 scale piece. I understand why they aren't doing that, since they have done it on both of their previous Medusa pieces. I do like the idea of 1/6 scale dio.
Perseus is stupid. Medusa should be chewing on his head.
