Probably not. Based on the pics I preferred the regular but wanted to be see both it and the variant in person before making a decision on which to keep and likely frame so that's why I ordered both. Nothing wrong with the variant, in fact it looks much better than I anticipated, but in hand the reg. just pops more and I do like it better.

Seems like the details come out sharper on the variant. I'm sure these have to be seen in person. Either one looks like a win.
