Question about comics on the Ipad
Tried finding this on google but had no luck
With the comic apps like Comixology for the ipad are they able to do searches through your "comic library"?
Can you search by character, writer, storyline etc?
Inquiring minds want to know

I don't have an answer to your question Jon, but my friend at work was telling me I'd really dig the app to read comics on the Ipad, that it looks really awesome. But I just don't know, I love reading comics in hand

Marvel Comic's and ComiXology Apps can search by:
Series
Genre
Creator
Storylines/Arcs
ComiXology also has search by Publisher
Both of these use the same App engine
iVerse App has a generic search feature. I think it only looks at the comic title.

You can do the searches with PanelFly through iTunes.
I couldn't get on with comixology as the swiping to the next frame made me feel sick.

I love holding the book in my hand too but with cover prices going up again I'm having more and more of a hard time justifying that price for 32 pages.

Yeah no kidding! It's ridiculous how much I spend at my LCS for books, even after Jim gives me a discount!
