I'm new to collecting and just ordered my first two statues. One is Skeletor from Sideshow which is estimated to weigh 6.8kg. I have this cabinet and it states the max weight it can take is 7kg..

It just sounds too close for comfort for me. Please tell me I am worrying about nothing?!

I've put 7kg worth of books on each shelf in the meantime so if it smashes I guess I'll know!

Thanks

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It was £80 but I get your point! It's not the Detolf I have it's called the tockarp and suggests it should hold a max of 7kg on each shelf. I bought this due to limited space and the fact I'll only have two statues. Is there anything else you would recommend? Thanks
