Extended warranty for the 360?
Anyone know how much it costs and how long it is? I know you get the first year free, but I want to have it coverd longer. Thanks

BB, it would be in your best interest to NOT get that warranty, UNLESS it starts right after the initial year that they give you is over. What's the point of paying for 2 or more years when one is already free? If anything get it at Costco like me or one from Best Buy.

No costco around these parts my friend. I usually get most things at bestbuy but my wifes mom has a deal where she gets 30% off anything in the store where she works for one day so I figured I couldn't beat that deal. I just don't want it to crap out on me after the first year and end up having to pay to get it fixed ya know.

I hear ya. Well the warranty that comes out of the box is like 69.99 I believe. I would go with BB's warranties though. I've gotten 3 new iPods because of it.

I just call MS and tell them my sh!t broke. They ask what the defect is specificaly and my adres. About a week later a box shows up at my door. I pack it, call the number and they come pick it up. About 1 to 2 weeks later I recieve my repair/replacement. No warranty asked no proof of purchase asked no nothing. I would find it strange if it is not the same in the US.

It's most likely tracked by your serial number. The day it's sold and what not is locked into the serial number as it's scanned. MS especially does not give better support to the EU nations since they're hardly up for it over here.
