^ For most it is the many awkward aspects of the pose.

Secondary considerations are the lack of light up chest plate and belt even though the saber lights and the relative price.

Pose.. its the pose that throws this whole piece off.. the base does not help either

I know its not movie accurate, but I just get the feeling from this pose, that he's on the edge talking to Luke in ESB. That's the aura I get from this piece, and for that reason, it towers above the rest in terms of presence

As many have already stated, the pose is this sculpt's biggest problem.

Vader looks great. It's just the pose. Sucks because I needed a kick ass Vader in my collection. I'm sure XM's is gonna be awesome but there's no way i'm dropping over a grand for it. I hope SS does another one down the line.

not that it "shouldn't matter" but yes, we are all interested in this because of the impact it had on us as children.

Seeing the saber ignite for the first time was one of the coolest things ever. Sure this isn't the same (and to be honest I will hardly use it) but the kid in me wants it to light up.

And given the price point (and the fact that the first one did) there really is no excuse for not including it.

Well they just did a Mythos version and this one has not yet even been released. Even if they saw huge dollar signs for Vader after the new movie it will likely be 3-4+ years before another Vader would be even near delivery.
